Sobre el club

Pista de Padel Quintanaortuño is the municipal padel court run by the Ayuntamiento de Quintanaortuño in the province of Burgos, Castilla y León. It sits in the riverside leisure area by the Ubierna, where the town has built a small outdoor sports cluster with a football pitch, a children’s playground and a biosaludable park for older residents. The venue is a single public padel court aimed at local players rather than a private club: there is no membership desk or coaching centre on site, and access is organised through the town’s own reservation and token system. Neighbours and visitors who want a quiet place to play padel outside Burgos city use this court as a community facility linked to the municipal website and the village cantina.

Instalaciones

The padel offer at Pista de Padel Quintanaortuño is one outdoor doubles court with floodlighting for evening play. Entry is controlled by a token lock: two fichas in the lower slot open the doors, and light tokens go in the upper slot at one hour of lighting per ficha. Players are expected to close both doors when they finish, even if another group is waiting. Around the court the municipality lists a multi-sport pitch, a traditional bowls (bolos) court and a football 7 pitch, plus nearby parks by the river. Other bookable town amenities include a hall and an asador, so a padel session can sit alongside other village leisure options.

Membresía y reservas

There is no private padel membership. Court time is rented through the Ayuntamiento’s online booking tools, including ReservaDeportes (reservadeportes.com/Aytoquintanaortuno.html) and the municipal site’s padel reservation section. Registration creates a user account; residents can mark themselves as empadronados when signing up. The minimum booking is two hours. After reserving online, players collect the access fichas and pay in cash at the Cantina de Quintanaortuño at the entrance to the village. Lighting is an optional extra charged per hour. Bookings made more than 48 hours ahead can be auto-cancelled, so users should re-check that the reservation is still active before travelling. No-shows without notice may lead to account sanctions or a block on further bookings.

Bueno saber

Pricing published by the Ayuntamiento is 4 euros for the minimum two-hour padel reservation and 2 euros per hour of artificial light, both paid at the cantina when collecting fichas. Misuse of the court (for example playing football or eating and drinking inside) has previously led the municipality to lock access until new locks were fitted, underlining that the enclosure is for padel only. Summer cultural programmes in Quintanaortuño have at times included padel classes among other activities. For general municipal queries the town hall uses the email quintanaortuno@diputaciondeburgos.net. The booking logo on the official website remains the main public entry point for padel reservations in this Burgos municipality.
