Sobre el club
The Ayuntamiento de Santa María de la Isla opened this municipal padel court in August 2022 for residents and visitors in a small León village between Astorga and La Bañeza. A single outdoor court sits in the school playground on Calle del Medio, giving the comarca a low-cost option without travelling to Ponferrada or León city clubs. Google’s lone five-star review praises facilities kept in perfect condition. The town hall runs bookings through a dedicated deportes portal rather than a commercial operator, which suits casual groups and families passing through the Tierra de La Bañeza.
Instalaciones
One uncovered outdoor padel court with timer-controlled floodlights for evening play until 22:30. Book mandatory 90-minute slots at deportesantamariadelaisla.com/reservas; confirmation arrives by email. Collect and return court keys via the town hall (Alcaldía) on 616 863 536. Users must wear proper padel shoes and clean footwear before entering. Minimum age fourteen unless accompanied by an adult.
Membresía y reservas
Open to any registered user on the municipal booking site—no private membership tier. Slots run from 09:00 through 22:30 in ninety-minute blocks (09:00–10:30, 10:30–12:00, and so on). Pricing is not published online; contact the ayuntamiento on 987 665 086 or info@aytosantamariadelaisla.es for current municipal rates.
