Pistas Polideportivas El Cerrillo is the municipal sports hub in Villafranca de Córdoba on CP-227, postcode 14420, run by the town hall and promoted through turismovillafrancadecordoba.es. The complex mixes competition sport with family leisure across renovated outdoor zones. For padel players there are four dedicated tracks: one individual singles-style court, two full doubles courts with artificial turf and either glass or muro walls, and one covered padel enclosure for rainy days. A separate padbol court adds a hybrid racket option. Tennis, volleyball, basketball, teqball, a multi-sport artificial pitch and a beginner climbing wall sit beside the padel zone. The site stays open year-round with online booking through the council reservation link and phone support on 957 190 740 or 635 671 256.
Instalaciones
Four padel courts cover singles practice, two outdoor doubles layouts and one covered padel bay with artificial grass. Surfaces use standard turf with methacrylate glass on some tracks and wall panels on another. Padbol, two tennis courts, polideportiva concrete, artificial multi-sport turf, basketball, volleyball and teqball expand the offer. A rocodromo de iniciación introduces climbing basics. Municipal management keeps the centre accessible and oriented to school groups, tournaments and casual hire. Vanacond operates a fitness zone adjacent to the courts according to local listings. The El Cerrillo sports facilities are fantastic for enjoying outdoor sports in Villafranca. There are well-maintained courts for padel, basketball, volleyball, and even a beginner's climbing wall and a teqball table. Everything is clean, well-kept, and has a great atmosphere. Ideal for both training and spending some fun time with friends or family.
Today we went to the sports center bar for breakfast and lunch. It's a place run by a very nice couple; few places are so well run, and the food is great.
