Pista de padel is the municipal padel court in Villanúa, a mountain village in Huesca’s Valle del Aragón in the Aragonese Pyrenees. Managed by the Ayuntamiento de Villanúa, it sits in the Zona Deportiva next to the polideportivo, football pitch and municipal pools. Official town and tourism pages describe a single padel court used by residents and by visitors who come for hiking, ski-season stays and summer sports camps. Entry is automated: players need a mobile phone to open the gate, and court lighting turns on and off with the booked slot, so evening matches do not depend on staff being present.
Instalaciones
The padel court forms part of Villanúa’s Zona Deportiva beside the river Aragón. Nearby you will find the municipal sports hall with a multi-sport court, weights room, multipurpose studio for aerobics, yoga and judo-style classes, a climbing wall, the football pitch, outdoor swimming pools with changing rooms and a bar, basketball courts, pétanque, a beach-volleyball court with Collarada as backdrop, and an illuminated pump track. The padel enclosure itself uses phone-activated door access and automatic lights for evening play. Players must bring a charged mobile and close the gate when the match ends.

Book the Villanúa padel court through the Villanúa Deporte app: create an account, choose a 90-minute slot and manage the booking on your phone. Ten minutes before the start, Mis reservas shows a button that opens the court door automatically. The Ayuntamiento also points players to its online reservation system for the pista de pádel on villanua.net. Hire costs 16 € for 90 minutes, rising to 20 € for the last two evening slots. Your phone is authorised only for the reserved window. Sports queries go to polideportivo@turismovillanua.net. The adjoining polideportivo sells day passes plus monthly, quarterly and annual abonos for gym and directed classes if you want more than a one-off padel session.

Villanúa has only one municipal padel court, so slots can fill fast in peak summer when camps and tourism raise demand—book ahead when you can. Without a mobile you cannot open the automated gate, and lights follow your reservation window. Always close the door after play.
