Informazioni
Tennis Club 2002 ASD is a long-standing multi-sport club on Via Gaetano Salvemini in Benevento’s Mellusi district, a few minutes from the historic centre. Primarily known for tennis—with six synthetic tennis courts (three permanently covered and three outdoor)—the association also offers padel and pickleball under FITP affiliation. A permanently covered padel court sits within a full club setup that includes changing rooms, a gym, an outdoor relax area, and a clubhouse bar. The club runs tennis and padel schools, youth competitive teams, and hosts national junior tennis events such as Junior Next Gen. Open days invite beginners of all ages to try tennis and padel free of charge. Staff are described as professional and friendly, making TC 2002 a community hub for racket sports in the Sannio capital rather than a padel-only venue.
Servizi
Padel is available on one permanently covered court, complemented by six synthetic tennis courts (three covered, three open) and pickleball. Support facilities listed by the club and event partners include changing rooms, a gym, an outdoor relax area, and a clubhouse with bar service. Booking for tennis and padel is handled through the club secretariat during published windows: weekdays roughly 8:00–22:30, Saturdays to 20:00, and Sundays/holidays in split morning and afternoon slots. Contact channels include phone, WhatsApp, and email. Guests note standard locker-room and refreshment quality and easy, well-marked access; street parking near the club can be limited but is usually findable nearby.
Abbonamento e prenotazione
Court hire for tennis and padel is arranged via the club (phone/WhatsApp/email); tariff boards are published on the contacts page. Because all courts are FITP-affiliated, players who use them must hold a valid FITP tessera for the current year (agonistic or non-agonistic as applicable)—the club communicates this clearly to members and casual users. A Scuola Padel has offered collective lessons twice weekly in afternoon slots, and Open Day sessions provide free trial play for tennis and padel. Tennis coaching pathways run from age five through competitive junior squads. For current padel lesson groups, membership fees, and court prices, contact tennisclub2002@gmail.com or +39 0824 357079 / WhatsApp 351 663 9444.
