Informazioni

Tie Break Sport Club is a multi-sport centre on Via Brenta in Depressa di Tricase, at the tip of Capo di Leuca in the province of Lecce, Puglia. Local Salento press (Il Gallo, August 2023) describes an expanding facility that quickly became a reference point for padel in the Capo di Leuca area after opening roughly a year earlier. Beyond padel, the club offers calcio a 8, beach volleyball, and seasonal kids' sports camps, matching its Google listing name. A large social community organises matches via social channels, and the club emphasises mixed-gender and mixed-age participation. The official website tiebreaksportclub.it was unreachable during this research pass, so details below rely on contemporaneous press and Google reviews.

Servizi

According to Il Gallo reporting, Tie Break has four padel courts: players can choose open-air or covered play, with two courts under cover fitted with a cooling system so summer heat and winter weather are less of a barrier. The same article highlights ghost padel sessions played in the dark with illuminated balls, kits, and LED court lines—an entertainment format that also confirms night lighting capability. Brand-new male and female changing rooms were present from opening. The wider complex includes an eight-a-side football pitch (about 56 by 35 metres) and a sand beach-volleyball court. Google reviewers mention a bar on site; one padel review noted dirty or wet glass affecting wall play on a particular visit, so court condition can vary with weather and maintenance timing.

Abbonamento e prenotazione

Drop-in and social play are central to the club's culture: Il Gallo cites a community of more than 300 padel players who organise games and find a fourth via social media. The club advertises an amateur padel championship and a padel school for adults and children with qualified staff, plus plans for personal training and group fitness. Kids' holiday camps (for example Natale Tie-Break) have been promoted with WhatsApp booking numbers in local listings. Formal online court booking on Playtomic was not confirmed for this Depressa venue during research; phone and social channels remain the practical reservation routes while the club website is down.

FAQ

Buono a sapersi

Tie Break sits in Depressa, a frazione of Tricase convenient for holidaymakers exploring the southern Salento coast. Website https://www.tiebreaksportclub.it/it/ returned errors during this research, so travellers should verify current prices and slot rules by phone (+39 366 253 9539) or Facebook before arriving. Beach-volleyball reviews are mixed regarding sand quality and fencing, which is separate from the padel offer but useful context for multi-sport visitors. Ghost padel evenings and tournament-style events make the club more than a simple hire-only venue.

I played Padel, but the dirty and wet glasses prevented their use, transforming padel into tennis

I absolutely do not recommend the beach volleyball court due to several serious problems: - the sand feels like construction sand, it's sharp, and it hurts your feet. - the layer of sand in some spots is very thin (I seriously injured my big toe and nail when I dug my foot in while playing). - the fence is two meters high, and all around is dirt and rocks. The ball always went out and had to be retrieved by putting your shoes back on—an infinite waste of time. - the fence isn't closed at the bottom, so the ball rolls out even when it's just rolling. After complaining to the lady at the bar, she told us she'd try to contact the owner, but he never responded. We received three bags of chips as compensation—ridiculous.
