Informazioni
S.S.D. Polisportiva Lomellina runs the Centro Sportivo Comunale di Gambolò on Via Olimpia, a multi-sport campus it has managed for more than thirty years alongside the municipal administration. The Start group operator has expanded the site over decades into one of the main sports hubs of the Lomellina plain in Pavia province. Padel sits inside a new heated tensile structure that also houses a multi-purpose gym and a pickleball court. The adjacent summer municipal pool, under the same management since 2023, adds swimming to a complex that already covers tennis, futsal, and indoor hall sports.
Servizi
One indoor padel court operates inside a heated tensostructure shared with a polivalent gym and pickleball lane. Playtomic lists the lane as Padel 1 with racket hire and padel balls available on site. The wider centre includes Palazzetto Olimpia (250 spectator seats), a school gym, outdoor tennis with a winter pressurised bubble, a tensile hall for tennis and five-a-side football, and the seasonal outdoor pool. Amenities flagged on Playtomic include free parking, changing rooms, lockers, vending machines, and disabled access. Opening runs roughly 08:00 to 23:00 daily for padel bookings.
Abbonamento e prenotazione
Padel court hire is handled through Playtomic at playtomic.com/clubs/polisportiva-lomellina, where you pick slots on the indoor court and pay online. For membership, courses, or tennis and pool enquiries, contact the office on +39 0381 938787 or +39 345 5320786, or email amministrazione@polisportiva-lomellina.it. The club site polisportiva-lomellina.it redirects to the Start group portal at startscs.com for broader facility information. Non-members can book padel by the hour without joining the association.
Buono a sapersi
Google reviewers confirm padel bookings exist but warn to double-check reservations at busy times. The Start group describes Gambolò as a reference centre for the territory, with continuous investment in indoor and outdoor infrastructure. Padel is a recent addition within the new tensile building rather than a standalone padel club, so expect a community sports-centre atmosphere shared with gym users and pickleball players.

Terrible experience. I contacted them about a month ago for a private tennis lesson. The coordinator, Matteo Longo, whom I called back after providing me with his phone number, told me he would update me within a couple of days. I'm still waiting, proof of a total lack of professionalism.
After booking a padel court, we showed up on time and were told that our reservation had been cancelled, without warning, due to priority being given to sports field employees.
Excellent tennis center, with a variety of courts, all very good. Excellent value for money.
