Circolo Tennis G. Maggioni is a historic tennis and padel club in the centre of San Benedetto del Tronto, Marche, at Viale Bruno Buozzi 1, about 100 metres from the sea among palms and pines. The club traces its roots to 1933 beside the Palazzina Azzurra, with the present complex built in 1959 in the port-area green belt. It has hosted Davis Cup matches and ATP Challenger tennis, including the San Benedetto Tennis Cup, and remains a social and cultural landmark for the Riviera delle Palme. More than 250 members use the grounds. Alongside tennis, the club operates padel courts that local press and Google reviews treat as an established part of everyday play, with online booking through Wansport.

The Maggioni complex lists ten tennis courts — eight clay and two synthetic turf, with several under cover — plus a members' club house, a gym with equipment and a youth play area with table tennis and foosball. Two padel courts sit on the site: the first overlooking Piazza Giorgini opened in 2016 and a second was inaugurated in 2018 after member investment. Municipal pages also note changing rooms, bar and restaurant services. The central tennis court has a large stand used for Challenger events. Padel cover works were authorised in late 2023, while a broader restyling that could add further padel courts was still in municipal negotiation through 2025, so treat the current padel offer as the existing two-court set.

Access to play is governed by club regulations; the association presents itself as a members' circolo with a large tennis school (around 130 juniors, more than 40 of them competitive) built on technique, education and intensity from baby tennis upward. Federal coaches deliver starter and improvement courses. For padel specifically, players book via Wansport or the club phone; casual visitors should check secretariat rules for guest access. Beautiful lesson with Maestro Andrea...if only he had shown up. ZERO professionalism.
An absolute disgrace. Organizing a padel match with four people takes time, and having the court snatched from under your nose because this center can't handle bookings is unacceptable. Zero professionalism, zero respect for other people's time, and no colorful fix for their enormous mistake. This place should be erased. Stay away.
