Etna Padel is a large padel club at the foot of Mount Etna in San Giovanni la Punta, near Catania, marketing itself as the biggest padel centre in southern Italy since opening in 2020. It sits inside Etna Sport Club (also known as I campi Stivala), close to the Catania ring-road exit, and combines twelve padel courts with football pitches and green parkland. The club positions itself as a reference point for Catania padel with specialised staff, clubhouse areas and regular tournaments and events.

Twelve outdoor padel courts supplied by Italian Padel, FIT-homologated synthetic grass, in orange, light blue and red colour schemes set in landscaped green space. The wider Etna Sport Club site also has three 7-a-side football pitches and one 5-a-side pitch, large parking next to the padel courts, changing rooms and accessible services beside the courts, rest areas overlooking the fields, free WiFi, a gym, and wellness suite amenities including sauna, Turkish bath and covered pool described on the club site.

Public booking is offered online via the club website form and by phone on 095 741 5525. Club membership registration is promoted on the site. Individual and age-specific lessons and personalised programmes are advertised for adults and children. Confirm current court hire rates and membership packages directly with the club, as a full public tariff table was not listed on the homepage.

The padel courts need to be completely redone due to the playing surface, where even freshly uncorked balls barely bounce. The same goes for the glass, which even in the height of summer seems to barely stop the balls. It's a shame because the facility itself is worth it, with its ample parking and lush greenery.
