Informazioni
Founded in 1963, Tennis Club Viterbo sits just outside the city in a green oasis within the thermal area of Viterbo. The historic club blends tennis heritage with a modern padel offering, hosting amateur play, youth and adult coaching, and a strong competitive tradition that has produced Italian team titles. Alongside tennis, the club runs dedicated padel courts with contemporary panoramic structures and seasonal covers so members can play through the year. On-site amenities include a members gym, bar, and the Osteria di Sughero restaurant, with a pre-Olympic pool currently closed. The setting near Strada Tuscanese makes it a full sports club destination rather than a courts-only venue.
Servizi
According to the club site, Tennis Club Viterbo offers six padel courts: three already covered and three in the process of being covered, plus illuminated tennis courts. The padel courts stand out for panoramic glass and a sliding side system that opens about 4.5 metres from the edges, with PVC covering that shelters play while keeping an airy outdoor feel. Pressostatic covers are also used in winter so activity can continue year-round. Members and course participants can use a self-managed gym with modern equipment and climate control. Social spaces include a bar and the on-site restaurant Osteria di Sughero. Online booking for padel and tennis is available via the club Wansport portals.
Abbonamento e prenotazione
Players can join as club members (soci) or enrol in courses for adults and juniors at different levels. Affiliation with Area Padel Tennis Club Viterbo gives members a personal padel portal account with a credit balance to book courts independently. Court hire for padel and tennis is bookable online by choosing day, time and court subject to availability through the club booking system. The club invites prospective members to visit and ask about joining, rather than publishing fixed package prices on the public pages reviewed.
