Recently joined following a few booked classes. I especially enjoyed the spin class that Roy took on Saturday and the circuit class today again class taken by Roy. Roy went out of his way to respectfully guide me in some of the circuit stops like the weights - nothing was too much trouble for him. Very pleasant Receptionist. Here’s to getting fit :) Couple of weeks in and completed a few more spin classes with Dave and Mike (fab instructors again very helpful) and Total Body Work with Roy - Fabulous I’m feeling so much better mind and body… fab monthly price of £22 including most classes and gym :)
Love this place! I mainly use the gym and attend the spinning classes, which are great fun and the instructors keep you motivated! There are also plenty of other classes and the people are friendly. And the membership won't is very reasonable.
Great tennis event. Jack was a brilliant host and got matches moving quickly however restroom facilities need upkeep during a busy tournament and guy on reception can chill out a bit. It's kids playing a tournament, no need to be rude and grumpy at them when asking for help to use facilities in between matches ( kids wanted to know where table tennis bats n balls and pool table balls where kept)....
Joined this gym back in July and it's a great little gym. Small little cardio room and weights room (large variety of weights) Most people use this for tennis but I'm not very athletic haha - I've had the gym to myself a few times which has definitely been lovely, I feel like I can try all the equipment without embarrassing myself Infront of people which has built my confidence. Staff here are lovely and you can do tennis for free outside (as long as you book) free hire on a racquet too. Can't fault this place, lovely all over and there's a bar in the social room....
We visit this centre weekly for Baby Ballet classes. If the review were for the classes I would give it 5 stars (Miss Lois does an astounding job). The sports centre is having work done and investment is being made, which is fantastic to see, however the basics of the centre could do with a luck of paint, a little TLC.
