Formed in 1880 at the heart of Chapel Allerton with 17 members, the tennis club has grown from 5 grass tennis courts and a wooden pavilion. Chapel A Club has two padel courts covered by a canopy, the courts opened August 2023. These courts are the most central in Leeds! Whether you are looking to try a new sport, join a team or meet other people, we have the facilities.

Been a member now for 3 months and absolutely love it. We were at DL before and must admit the level of coaching and the friendliness of members is far superior. Front of house staff are amazing and very welcoming. The outdoor courts are fantastic quality and the bars is great too

Even on a rainy day the padel courts are wet even though there is a roof above them. We were sliding like on ice, which is not perfect and higher risk of injury.
A fantastic hidden gem in Chapel Allerton! The club is like a whole little community, which welcomes children, older people and everyone in-between. The gym is very clean and well kept, with a perfect mix of every kind of equipment and weights. It is never busy, even at peak times and the non-judgmental members and staff who work here, makes it a welcoming safe place to come. There are lots of social events and the licensed bar a great addition. It’s lovely to be able to have a coffee on the balcony on warmer days. I would highly recommend
