The changing rooms are always filthy and I don't for a second believe that's the fault of cleaning staff but dirty people! Chewing gum stuck to coat hooks, nappies left in changing cubicle, plasters stuck to the wall.... No one bothers with the shoe covers so there's mud and dirt as soon as you step out of the shower area. The pool itself is pretty grubby and it gets incredibly packed at times, to the point you can't go anywhere! The lifeguards are young and not on top of those who act dangerously in the pool!
Disappointing Pool Experience at The Triangle, Burgess Hill I visited The Triangle yesterday, and the experience was far from enjoyable. The pool water was noticeably dirty, especially underwater, where dirt was clearly visible along the edges of the pool floor. The poolside areas were also unclean, particularly where the water meets the edge. The jacuzzi was out of order, which was disappointing, and lane swimming was completely unavailable, as all lanes were reserved for swimming classes. This is a major issue, as some parents would like to use the lanes while their children play in the smaller pool. The overcrowding was beyond acceptable—it was absolutely packed, making it feel chaotic and uncomfortable. What is the maximum capacity, and is it actually being enforced for safety reasons? It certainly didn’t seem like it. The most shocking part was the amount of dirt—it was unbelievable. I understand it’s the school holidays, but this felt more like a dirty zoo than a leisure centre. Very disappointing. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves cleanliness and crowd control.
I am confused, no working properly working jacuzzi for months then not at all. then no slides or rapids as work being done. Currently rapids now working and jacuzzi also - yet online price is £5.90 rather than £4.20 I used to pay before the works started. Was told online price and Receptionist would look into it. So still don't know when or it the price will be £4.20 again? Please can anyone explain?
Blonde girl at reception was very rude and dismissive. We simply said it was our first time and asked where the disabled changing was. Half way through speaking she just handed us the wristbands without asking our booking information or even making eye contact with us. My wife asked where the pool was, which she replied "where it says pool". I stated that it was our first time and asked where the disabled changing room was, and she said "where it says disabled changing". Didn't even look up at us. Visit was 22.02.25
Great fun, good pool and open much later than other local leisure centres. Good level of cleanliness too which is always a bonus! Overall lovely place with very helpful staff :)
