Tennisclub Hard on the Bregenzer Ach in Vorarlberg has been a Lake Constance racket-sports hub since 1972. Two outdoor padel courts on artificial turf opened in May 2017 — among the first in the region when padel courts were still rare in Austria. The wider site adds nine clay tennis courts, two indoor granulate halls, Vorarlberg's only pickleball court, a sauna, ball machine, and the Club 72 restaurant with sun terrace and children's playground. Padel demand has grown sharply; the club recently paused new padel memberships because both courts are heavily booked.
Facilities
Club membership required for regular play — over 650 members. Apply via the online membership form on tchard.at with various subscription tiers. As of April 2026, new padel memberships were paused (Aufnahmestopp) due to high court demand. Non-members may book courts online where slots are available. It has 9 outdoor and 2 indoor courts, as well as 2 padel courts. There's also a small playground for children. Friendly service and delicious food, especially the pizza, which is highly recommended.
