About
Padel4Lungau brings outdoor padel to the Tamsweg sport centre in Austria's Lungau region of Salzburg. Soft-opened in May 2025 with support from the Tamsweg municipality and local sponsors, the venue runs two outdoor courts bookable online year-round in the warm season, with the 2026 season relaunching on 1 April. The club organises a local Padelliga via the Slicewin app, hosts the Lungauer Padel Open, and offers free try-and-play sessions with rackets and balls on site. It is listed among Salzburger Padel Verband member venues and positions itself as an accessible community hub for beginners and regulars across the valley.
Facilities
Two outdoor padel courts (Platz 1 and Platz 2) sit at Sportzentrumweg 1, 5580 Tamsweg. After online booking, players receive an access PIN by email for entry to the facility. Rental rackets can be reserved online and collected from a rental box directly at the courts. Courts are weather-dependent outdoor surfaces; the 2025 season ran into late autumn depending on conditions, and the 2026 season opened in April. Reviews describe the grounds as impeccably maintained.
Membership & Booking
Court hire is booked at padeltamsweg.tennisplatz.info/reservierung after registration, with a published hourly rate of €26. Racket rental is available online for collection from the on-court hire box. Coaching contact Matthias Brugger is listed for training; Padelliga 2026 and the Lungauer Padel Open provide competitive and social formats. Drop-in style booking is open to registered users without a mandatory long-term membership on the public booking pages.
