Padel 1640 sits on the edge of the Forêt de Soignes in Sint-Genesius-Rode, just south of Brussels. The venue is a fully renovated indoor padel centre that grew from the former Tennis Club de la Forêt de Soignes. Eight courts sit under one roof with roughly ten metres of ceiling height, so lobs stay playable all year without weather interruptions. Six courts take doubles play and two are laid out for singles. Beyond the courts, a club-house, restaurant and event spaces give the place a social clubhouse feel rather than a bare hire hall. Court time is booked through Playtomic, and the club also runs an active calendar of competitions and club events aimed at regulars and newcomers alike.
Facilities
Casual play goes through Playtomic with seasonal winter and summer court tariffs published on the website. Year-round affiliation costs 45 euros and covers federation registration with Padel Wallonie-Bruxelles plus Ethias sports insurance, which is required for official tournaments and interclub teams. Fixed weekly slot subscriptions let you block the same day and time each week; contact the club to check availability and pay by bank transfer once confirmed. Interclub teams are growing and the calendar lists upcoming match dates. Academy fees for cycles, children's courses, private lessons and camps are paid by bank transfer or cash at the secretariat on weekdays 10:00-17:00.

I wouldn't recommend the tennis court. It's sad to see how a "tennis" club has veered away from its original purpose to make money from the latest padel trend. The line and court colour are a mess, people walk in the court to get across and there is not enough space on either side.
One of the most expensive padel court in Brussels for no reason, during summer inside is around 5 degrees more than outside, no ventilation. It’s expensive as they have more reach people around living…
Love this place. Friendly staff. Clean. Spacious.
Clean, easy to access. A little on the colder side so bring a sweater.
