Béarn Padel is a new autonomous padel centre at 20 Route du Bois in Assat, in the rolling countryside south of Pau. Local entrepreneur Sébastien Rangotte opened the site after two years of development, aiming to root high-quality padel in his home territory with views toward the Pyrenees. Four panoramic courts use latest-generation carpet surfaces and automatic lighting, while a video capture system lets players review match footage from the following day — useful for coaching yourself or sharing highlights. The club runs entirely self-service for bookings, payments, racket hire and ball purchases through its website and mobile app, with secure code access to courts between 7am and 10.30pm daily.
Facilities
Court hire is pay-and-play through the app or website, with no traditional membership structure advertised on the Wix homepage. Initiation courses for all levels and a calendar of friendly and competitive tournaments are being rolled out as the club builds its community. Players book in a few clicks and receive access codes by email. Owner Sébastien Rangotte remains contactable for guidance even though day-to-day operations are automated. Event and tournament packages for companies or groups can be arranged through the site contact form.

Tried and tested! On a rainy Sunday, we came to play padel :) The changing rooms and toilets are freely accessible even on weekends, which we love 😍 Renting rackets is easy and the courts are spotless. We'll definitely be back.
A nice, family-friendly place; I've never been disappointed. The owner and staff are very welcoming. The only downside at the moment is that the clubhouse isn't open all day. I recommend it.
Honestly, it's a real shame. The website is very poorly informed. It's over a 30-minute drive to go paddleboarding for two, and we had a confirmed reservation only to be turned away because there's no option for two people. Avoid at all costs! If you're not a group of four, it's a complete waste of time. We'll go to Lescar instead, because at least there you can paddleboard for two.
Brand new too beautiful
All that's missing is ventilation
