Chez PaPé Padel opened on Avenue de l'Amandier on the edge of Avignon as a deliberately different kind of club: three fully indoor panoramic courts with air conditioning — a rarity around the city where most padel is outdoor and brutal in summer or chilly in winter. The owner-run venue pairs padel with Provençal pétanque (five lanes, one indoors) and a clubhouse built for watching sport: giant screens run from 9:00 to midnight seven days a week. Reviewers praise the warm welcome, tournament organisation, and snack platters at fair prices. For Avignon locals tired of sweating through August matches, the climate-controlled hall is the main reason to come.
Facilities
Peak padel: fifty-two euros per ninety-minute court (thirteen euros per person for four). Off-peak Monday to Friday 07:30–12:00 and 14:00–17:00: forty euros per court (ten euros per person). Prepaid credit packs: one hundred thirty euros for eleven games (ten bought, one free) or two hundred sixty euros for twenty-five games (twenty bought, five free) — contact the club to purchase. Very friendly staff, the courts are well maintained, but the key point is that the place is all in air condition. All paddle courts around Avignon that I know are without AC so too hot in summer months, and cold in winter. This alone is the main reason I recommend this place!

First time at Papé Padel, playing in a tournament this morning. Absolutely fantastic! A wonderful welcome, a very friendly owner, a beautiful clubhouse with a pleasant atmosphere, three excellent indoor courts, and impeccable snacks (cheese platter) at very reasonable prices... Family-friendly padel, 3 indoor courts, outdoor pétanque courts. Snacks and beer taps that work quite well! Great place to hit the ball in Avignon, I recommend it!
