We were hosted for the National Pickleball Tournament in their indoor gymnasium with 6 tennis courts. The space has been converted to accommodate 22 pickleball courts. There are men's and women's changing rooms with showers, and shared restrooms. A great place to play tennis or, if you prefer, pickleball! 👍
Hi, This tennis club is far from the best. Having played at many tennis clubs in France, I came with a friend to participate in this Draguignan tournament in three categories: Men's Singles 17/18, Seniors, and Mixed Doubles, specifically to play on clay courts as indicated on Tenup. We didn't play a single match despite the beautiful weather on clay, only on resin courts, which, while very well maintained, were extremely slippery. My partner, who had registered in all three categories, was only able to play one tournament in the Senior category and not in the Junior category, while I was luckier in two categories. But the biggest problem is that we couldn't play doubles despite indicating our availability on Tenup. The referee wouldn't hear of it and wouldn't let us play, even though the referee's behavior was far from friendly. And finally, the state of the clay courts is catastrophic; they are not maintained. So please remove "clay court" from the registration on Tenup.
My son started playing tennis in mid-September and is thrilled and motivated to go every Wednesday morning. He loves Remy, Fabien, and Raphaël—they're all excellent coaches, super friendly, and passionate. As an added bonus, there's a WhatsApp group for updates. Absolutely fantastic!
Unfortunately, the padel courts are victims of their own success. Booking is very difficult. More courts are needed for a city of over 40,000 inhabitants.
6 lots, large free parking, good atmosphere...
