The Comité Départemental de Tennis des Hautes-Alpes is the FFT departmental body for tennis and padel in Gap, based at the Fontreyne sports complex on Chemin des Matins Calmes. Although the Google listing names the committee office, the padel offer locals know as Padel de Gap is on the same site: two covered indoor courts opened in 2023 after a long-running project nicknamed la casa des padels. Set between rugby pitches and tennis facilities in the Southern Alps, the venue gives Hautes-Alpes players year-round padel when outdoor mountain weather would rule out open-air sport. The committee also runs schools, competitions, and coaching across the department.
Facilities
Court hire is booked through Ten'Up on the FFT platform. Fullmotiv lists 90-minute sessions at 24 euros for licensed or member-rate players and 28 euros for others, with multi-session packs at five for 120 or 140 euros and ten for 240 or 280 euros including one free game. A lighting token costs 2 euros when required. Pack deals and school enrolment are handled via the committee. Phone contact is 09 67 10 48 09. Thank you for the wonderful time we had at Padel de Gap. We arrived at 6:30 PM to play a game of padel with friends, and there were no lights on the court… Yes, you only see that in Gap or at the Committee… Instead of charging an extra €2 per person for lighting… Well, no, you need a token for the lights, but you can't buy one directly at the complex… Neither by card nor cash, as there are no token dispensers available. You have to go to the Committee's office, which, as you can imagine, was closed at 6 PM… In short, don't play in Gap because I think this system was designed by engineers (laughs), and I can't wait for a private company to come along and develop a padel club professionally and logically 🙏
I paid 28 euros for a game of Padel, but I didn't receive an access code and there was no one to help me, so I couldn't play. This whole thing is very unprofessional.
It has everything you need to play tennis. Drawback: it gets very hot in good weather. Lighting for evening play is extra.
