Tennis Club de Gien sits on Chemin des Moulins on the edge of Gien in the Loiret, running one of the fuller multi-racket estates in the Sologne–Gâtinais corridor. Padel arrived as a natural extension of a club that already fields interclub tennis teams and keeps four indoor resin courts plus outdoor clay and quick surfaces busy year-round. Three padel lanes are now bookable — two established semi-covered courts and a newer panoramic Pad C that 7smash lists at a premium — all on synthetic turf with lighting for evening play. Reviews consistently mention a warm welcome, spotless facilities and a clubhouse where you actually want to stay after the match. The padel school runs from mini-padel through confirmed adults, summer stages with coach Elliott cover defence and attack themes, and an FFT tournament calendar (P100 and up) feeds through Ten'Up. Members must hold valid club rights; guests play as invited partners.
Facilities
Court hire for members and authorised guests via 7smash (gien-tennis-padel) or FFT Ten'Up — membership or guest status required before play. Evening padel rates on 7smash show €25/hour on Pad A and B, €30/hour on Pad C; material hire around €12 per slot. Padel school enrolment through the club website; summer stages from €10 per session (degressive for four days), racket loan available, max eight per group — contact Elliott on 06 71 29 15 27.
