The club is in a very nice location, and the on-site restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Now for the negative: the TMC (Tennis Multi-Challenge) is a disaster, absolutely avoid it. They charged €30 for a single match on Saturday, even though the umpire knew perfectly well he wouldn't be playing any matches on Sunday (it was raining all day). In short, it's theft and blatant dishonesty. Fellow tennis players, steer clear of this club.
Very friendly welcome at the restaurant. Quality home-style cooking. Very reasonable prices. I recommend it.
Bad experiences with tournaments and referees in La Ciotat. - Referees don't draw on site; everything is done in advance to suit their friends. It's well known, all the referees in the region know it. Cassis, Luminy, Bocage, All In, Winwin, it's a random draw in front of several people. It's called being honest. - These same referees in La Ciotat coach some of their members in men's and mixed p100/250, even though it's forbidden. - Always these referees who tell you they're playing on a certain day for a month, then change it four days before. As a result, it's impossible to get free because we have lives (yes!). The clubs in Ceyreste or St Cyr are much nicer for playing padel. The La Ciotat club is shooting itself in the foot by keeping these two people as referees, because no one else has yet to do their tournaments.
They took a match from me during the TMC that I completely avoided. This is unacceptable!!!
