The Padel to B is an independent padel centre in La Roche-Vineuse, in the Mâconnais vineyards between Mâcon and Cluny. Owners Anne and her team run it as a social sports hangout rather than a formal club — regulars mention constant small improvements, a friendly vibe and the feeling of playing at someone's home court. Two indoor padel courts fill a gap in a region where covered play was scarce. After matches, players gather at the snack-bar around a giant screen for sports broadcasts. The centre also lists Accueil Vélo status for cyclists touring the vineyard roads.
Facilities
Court hire is 44 € for 90 minutes for four players — roughly 11 € per person. Book through the club app or the Réserver links on thepadeltob.com. Staffed reception: Monday 10:00–22:00, Wednesday 13:30–22:00, Thursday–Saturday 10:00–00:00, Sunday 10:00–17:00. Outside those windows the site stays open in self-service mode if the full court is prepaid for your code. Slinger sessions, ping-pong and pétanque are phone-only (06 16 96 29 08). Great padel club! 🎾 Friendly and very pleasant atmosphere. The managers are really cool and welcoming; you feel right at home. The club is constantly evolving with regular renovations and small improvements. It's always a pleasure to play here with friends; I highly recommend it!!
The complex is nice, and it's great to have indoor courts in the area. However, there are a few things that need improvement. The restrooms aren't finished, and the shower (there's only one) leaks, so there's regularly water all over the floor. It gives the facilities a somewhat unfinished feel. During one of our visits, we were also bothered by the sun because of a garage-style door with gaps that let in a lot of light. When we pointed this out, we were told that "when you play outside, there's sun." That's precisely why we choose and pay for an indoor court, to avoid this kind of inconvenience, especially since there are free outdoor courts nearby in the afternoon. It's a shame because the potential is there, but a few improvements to the facilities and the lighting would make the experience much more enjoyable. Return to your comment: I've taken note of the showers and restrooms. During our visit, the leak had been present for some time, which, in my opinion, justified mentioning it. When you pay for a service, it's normal to point out any inconveniences you encounter while playing. However, the main point of my rating remains the lighting. At €11 for 1.5 hours indoors, one expects not to be bothered by the sun. I understand that there may be safety constraints regarding the doors, but that doesn't excuse the lack of a solution to guarantee optimal playing comfort. My 3-star rating simply reflects my experience at that time: it doesn't question the potential of the complex, but rather the issues we encountered during our visit.
