Lou Tennis Parc is one of Lyon's oldest racket clubs, an FFT-affiliated association founded in 1896 on Quai Fillon beside the Gerland plain. The tree-lined site mixes heritage tennis with a growing padel offer: two outdoor padel courts, including a panoramic glass court, sit next to four clay outdoor tennis courts and four indoor resin courts that are resurfaced each year. The club hosts WTA training camps, senior opens, junior summer stages, and an active padel calendar with FFT P250 events and interclub teams. After play, members gather at La Guinguette du LOU, the on-site terrace restaurant with homemade snacks and Lavazza coffee overlooking the courts.
Facilities

I've had the opportunity to play at this club a few times as a guest. The experience is excellent! The structure and facilities are of good quality, as are the courts. It's a real pleasure to play in such well-maintained surroundings. I recommend this club to anyone looking for good facilities.
Why is this club rated 4.3/5? I don't understand! If you want your children to be supervised and guided by passionate, dedicated instructors who arrive on time, definitely don't enroll them there. However, if you just want to get rid of your children for an hour and a half, it's a good day camp where the children are self-directed; it's not about tennis there, but rather independent childcare. My daughter is very happy that the school year is finally over.
A pleasant and friendly place, with a restaurant, a shop, and meeting rooms. I loved discovering the padel tennis court, and of course, playing tennis there too. 🎾✨ There's even an indoor court area available for booking for evenings or special events. ✨✨
Great atmosphere, bar open after classes for refreshments, indoor hard courts resurfaced every year and outdoor clay courts (brand new!). Good quality lessons for all levels. You can book lessons for fun after work. The indoor leaks need fixing to prevent water from leaking inside. Despite this, I highly recommend it!
