The Tennis Club de Mantes — officially AS Mantaise Tennis Padel — sits on the wooded Île aux Dames at 2 Allée des Îles Eric Tabarly, with views across the Seine to the Collégiale and Tour Saint-Maclou. Founded in 1928 and merged into AS Mantaise in 1964, it ranks among the top five of 150 Yvelines clubs for youth development and won the 2023 Trophée des Clubs formateur award. Three floodlit outdoor padel courts have run since 2017 alongside eight tennis courts, beach tennis and beach volleyball. A major 2026 rebuild adds two covered padel courts and three covered tennis greensets after storm damage in August 2025.

A beautiful, historic Tennis and Padel club. Passionate and dedicated instructors for all ages, dynamic activities throughout the year, and food available on site.
The club, located on the banks of the Seine, boasts an exceptional location with numerous clay courts. Since 2020, the club has gone from 5 indoor courts to 3. With 500 members, 2 full-time coaches, and occasional winter tournaments, the reduced number of indoor courts means that only retirees, professionals, or children taking lessons can play from October to March. This reduction from 5 to 3 indoor courts is a significant blow to the club for adult members who are employed during the six rainy months of the year.
My son was fired in 2019/2020. Between the lessons not held due to waterproofing issues with the grounds at the beginning of the year and the shutdowns due to Covid, only about 10 lessons were held. Despite multiple reminders to obtain a partial refund, and an agreement reached by email, we never won our case. Unprofessional
Unique moments spent at this superb club. I especially thank my grandfather for passing on his passion for diving to me, even though he himself had never practiced it. This club truly brings out all the emotions within me, and I feel fulfilled thanks to it. Thank you so much, best aqua diving club in Senne-et-Marne!
