Poor organization and communication for tournaments. [EDIT] Hello, First, to provide some context, I'd like to point out that it's currently very difficult to register for padel tournaments in the area, as there are few facilities organizing them and they're all extremely busy. I was registered for the P25 tournament on Sunday, December 29th, with my teammate, over a month ago. Your initial mistake occurred at the beginning of December when you canceled registrations and immediately refunded everyone due to a computer error. I had to call to ask what was going on, and I was told it was an error that shouldn't be taken into account. While these things happen, an email to everyone confirming it was indeed an error would have been helpful (not everyone is necessarily on your WhatsApp group). Fortunately, everyone was re-registered without any further action required from the prospective participants. The real organizational problem became apparent yesterday when I was told I couldn't participate in a P25 tournament because my ranking was too high due to playing tennis. In my defense, this rule was changed this year, I never play padel tournaments, and a quick internet search reveals articles with the old rules, which are actually dated early December (an error on the part of the website(s)). I'll spare you the trouble of finding ways to improve the system, as it seems you don't even bother to write professional responses to negative Google reviews. To avoid this kind of inconvenience, I recommend including a warning during registration (a clearer warning if present, as I wasn't the one who registered, so I can't confirm its absence) indicating that the tournament is not open to players ranked higher than 20,000th. This type of warning is used for similar cases of exclusion from accessible seating for people with reduced mobility (PRM) when booking various events such as concerts or sporting events. It's also possible to add this information to registration confirmation emails (in red at the beginning of the email). You could also check the list of registered participants once the tournament is full, as you can easily understand that informing people only two days before the start of the tournament is not very helpful. I realize you have a few tournaments per month, but they fill up quickly, and it doesn't take that long to check the list of registered participants. Finally, you could use a more formal tone when giving this kind of information by phone; indeed, a simple "sorry" is appropriate when two people are excluded from a tournament they've been waiting for for over a month. Sincerely, Thibaud
Impeccable, top-notch for the last 2 years
A brand new campsite that's a hit with the Niort area, and the staff are very friendly. The problem is, it's a victim of its own success! All the campsites are booked 2-3 weeks in advance for each time slot! They need more campsites, or they should regulate the bookings.
