Tennis Padel Club La Ferté-sous-Jouarre has stood on the banks of the Marne in Reuil-en-Brie since 1967, about 60 km east of Paris near Marne-la-Vallée. Two outdoor floodlit padel courts sit alongside five outdoor clay tennis courts, two covered resin tennis courts, mini-tennis, a training wall and a riverside clubhouse. The club runs padel tournaments and animations, summer multi-sport stages, wheelchair tennis and an elite pathway that produced young prospect Pablo Pradat. Partner access to two resin courts at neighbouring Changis-sur-Marne extends the tennis offer.
Facilities
Pay-as-you-play padel: €10 per person for a 90-minute slot. Adult padel membership plus FFT licence: €186/year; combined padel and tennis: €345. Junior padel membership: €102/year. It has tennis courts, which are fairly well maintained and clean, but this comes at a cost that impacts the price of occasional court access, which I find quite high... Otherwise, nothing to complain about, except for making it accessible to a wider range of people.
Really nice club, the only downside: two showers which are not used or very little used because they are not practical (1 for F & 1 for M) for all its members (+500 approx).
Great coaching team, always friendly and smiling, a slight downside is the "factory" concept of making money, with back-to-back training sessions for the teachers, which impacts adherence to schedules.
The team was REALLY great!! My kids got a free 1-hour trial with learning games, etc.... they loved it! THANK YOU 👍👍
Very friendly club, open and humane administration, very good relationship with its club members, great courses and tournaments with a consolation for beginners eliminated in the first round.
