The Tennis Municipal de Sainte-Maxime runs two seafront sites on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez: La Croisette at 3 Avenue du Souvenir Français, where two new outdoor padel courts opened in February 2025, and La Madrague on Chemin de la Vierge Noire with four additional tennis courts. Padel sits beside four Greenset hard courts and a synthetic clay lane at La Croisette, all with Mediterranean views. The municipal club has been modernised since 2021 and welcomes holiday players without requiring full membership — a plus for summer visitors. A clubhouse restaurant draws praise in reviews, and the desk lends rackets and balls if you arrive without gear.
Facilities
Padel court hire for 90 minutes: 32 euros for tennis members (roughly 8 euros per player in a four), 48 euros for visitors (12 euros per player). No separate padel membership required for casual holiday play — create a BalleJaune account and book online. Tennis coaching and summer schools run for juniors and adults. Great for holidayers visiting the Sainte-Maxime area, as the venue does not require membership despite the numerous tennis and padel courts available. Lovely café on-site, easy to book courts through ballejaune.com, and a plentiful supply of tennis balls and rackets if you forget to pack your own.

I've been going to Sainte-Maxime for holidays since I was a little girl! My partner took up padel again this summer, and thanks to the receptionist, I rediscovered tennis! I even took a tennis lesson afterwards and will be back next year! I loved the interaction! I'll be bringing my 3-year-old daughter next year—fantastic! I highly recommend it! The receptionist was great—funny and efficient, which is rare! I recommend it! Customers are king, but they must respect the people behind every job!
The tennis lessons are good, the instructor is a good teacher. However, the receptionist is absolutely awful to both adults and children: an employee who ruins all the other good qualities of this place and her colleagues. Madam, you should change careers and, above all, avoid any further contact with customers, as the reception reflects the business. My children have taken lessons every summer for the past 10 years, and just because of this person, it was the last time. I prefer to use the €600 for another activity where people will be respectful.
A place you absolutely must know, if only for its restaurant. Simply perfect. An address I'll definitely remember for future visits, and one I'm now one of its best ambassadors for. Thank you to the entire team for all your hard work! A new customer gained! 👌👍👏
