TSG Backnang Tennis 1925 added two panoramic outdoor padel courts in summer 2024, converting former tennis plots into a regional racket-sports hub at Weissacher Straße 93. Built with Kübler Sport glass walls and LED floodlighting — partly funded by the city of Backnang and the Württemberg State Sports Association — the courts welcome members and visitors alike. The in-house Padel Panthers community drives social play and league ambitions, while the wider club retains tennis halls, squash and a gastropub. Google reviewers praise the quiet green setting and the quality of the new surfaces.
Facilities
Weekday padel (Mon–Fri): members €12/court off-peak (07:00–16:00) and €14 peak (16:00–22:00); guests €20 off-peak and €26 peak. Weekends: members €14, guests €26 per hour. Eleven-session cards at ten times the single rate (e.g. member off-peak €120). Separate padel-department membership application on backnang-tennis.de. Rain before kick-off: email info@backnang-tennis.de for a fee waiver or credit; rain after start still charged.

We were playing padel here on an unacceptable court. Our complaint and pointing out the court opposite the office were unsuccessful; on the contrary, we were met with blame and unbelievable accusations. It's a shame that open criticism is treated this way and that there's absolutely no willingness to acknowledge the problem. That was our last time there, and we advise against visiting this padel facility.
Great tennis club, amazing paddle court, beautifully situated, quiet and top-notch facilities.
Beautiful facility in a green setting, 2 new paddle courts ideal for playing together in larger groups. Highly recommended :)
