End-of-summer reflection...this morning I played the last hot game of the season (10 a.m. 😵‍💫) here at Cast...from Sunday we'll get back to base and the work routine. Usually when we play in our cities, we have the same friends and the same groups, but here at Cast I almost always played with different people, many of whom I didn't know. It was great!! It's nice to meet new people, to compare myself with others, and comparison is always a positive thing...competitiveness of course, but always with fair play, with a smile, with a joke. That's the beauty of sport, and this one in particular that we love. It's not just a padel court...it's so much more!! And the credit for this certainly goes to the host, his dedication to the cause, to starting and closing matches at all hours, to coordinating the right levels...you made us have fun, great all-rounder Luciano!! So...THANK YOU, and thanks also to Monica and her dad, always available and ready for our every need, like today's morning shower! We're expecting great things next year, don't forget!
