ASD Tennis Cumiana, part of A.S.D. Cumiana Sport, is a multi-sport club in Cumiana (TO), in the Turin metropolitan area of Piedmont. Alongside football, tennis and pickleball, the club runs dedicated padel courts at the Strada Gabriella sports grounds. Cumiana Sport has deep local roots—around 90 years of history and more than 500 members across its affiliated sports—and treats padel as a core offer for recreational doubles play. The padel section sits within a wider campus that also hosts synthetic and grass football pitches, a sports hall and a bar, so players can combine a match with other facilities on site.
Facilities
Court hire is bookable online via Playtomic (playtomic.io / Playtomic app for ASD Cumiana Sport) or by contacting padel coordinator Claudio Botta. Outdoor padel is priced at €10 per person for 90 minutes (lighting €1.50 per person extra); the indoor/covered court is €14 per person for 90 minutes with light and heating included. A FITP insurance tessera is mandatory at €10 per year. Payment for the court is required in advance, and tennis or padel shoes are required. Birthday and group events can include one hour of padel and/or tennis coaching animation with advance booking. Terrible experience! They'll charge you €0 (therefore free) on Playtomic and then tell you that payment is actually due on-site. The actual amount isn't specified on the app, and the payment on Playtomic is fully valid (it appears paid and booked).
Excellent club, excellent management by Claudio Botta! Both the indoor and outdoor padel courts are excellent, with metal grills. The bathrooms aren't the best, but they're still being renovated! The bar is excellent and well-stocked.
There are new padel courts, a modern infrastructure that adds to the traditional tennis court, a welcoming environment, I have played several times and have always had a good time.
