SHAMEFUL ORGANIZATION The club is structurally very solid, but the tournament organization was embarrassing, to say the least. We registered for a tournament at Madiba LIMITED to Tier 4, as the club clearly stated in a message. Despite this, we found ourselves up against a Tier 2 competitive athlete. We asked the organizer for an explanation, and he told us that an exception was made because the boy was a minor. An absurd justification: if he's already Tier 2 at under 18, it means we're talking about a player with an extremely promising future, who is already sponsored by Babolat, is nearly two meters tall, and has extraordinary explosiveness. According to the organizers, his age would even be a mitigating factor for including him in an amateur tournament. In reality, it's the exact opposite: it's an aggravating factor. The end of the story? The tournament was obviously cannibalized by a completely out-of-class pair, who won effortlessly, ruining an event that would have been balanced and entertaining without this "exception." This was a huge disservice to the club, which should have at least had the decency to reimburse all participants, who came to play an amateur tournament and instead found themselves being ridiculed by a competitive athlete.

I was there yesterday for a tournament. The facilities are excellent, but I strongly advise against participating in tournaments organized for them. It was a tournament reserved for the highest category, the fourth, yet they allowed a second-category player to enter: an unbeatable opponent and of a significantly superior level. Furthermore, the organizer, Raffaele, admitted he knew the player didn't meet the requirements for that category but made an exception anyway. We went there hoping to compete for first place in the gold category, only to be met with this unpleasant surprise and feel completely cheated. It's a disgrace, both on the part of the organizer and of that guy, who enters amateur tournaments to steal prizes from amateurs, despite being a competitive player. Shameful.
