SUBJECT: Exclusive review of the outdoor doubles court, PADEL. I tried the ASD Monte Darena Academy doubles padel court, and unfortunately, the experience wasn't a positive one. The surface has several bumps that make the ball bounce unpredictable, compromising the quality of the game. Furthermore, the court is completely exposed to the sun, with no shade whatsoever: during the hottest hours of the day, it becomes really difficult to play. Another problem is the surrounding area: if the ball lands behind the court, retrieving it is a hassle due to trees, dirt, and scattered litter. I won't comment on other courts (soccer or indoor padel), but I wouldn't recommend this doubles court. The price remains €10 per person, with no discount whatsoever, even in the morning, when the courts are certainly free, given the conditions. It's true that it's one of the few courts with a suitable size for two-person play, but in its current condition, it's not worth the expense.
