The Lob – Padel & Pickleball in São Mamede de Infesta is one of Porto’s most innovative racket clubs, with four indoor padel courts built to WPT-standard turf, 26,000-lumen lighting and 8.5-metre ceiling height. It pioneered Neon Night Games in Portugal in 2022 (black-light padel with disco atmosphere) and added four outdoor acrylic pickleball courts in 2024, the first permanent pickleball layout in the Porto area. The academy coaches padel and pickleball for all ages, with corporate events and birthday parties. Free private parking, bar snacks and male/female changing rooms complete the package.

I came all the way from Minnesota for the week and had an amazing time at The Lob! I called ahead, and the owner was incredibly helpful—he even set up some pickleball games for me. On top of that, he took the time to teach me how to play Padel, which was such a fun new experience. Great facility, friendly people, and an awesome atmosphere. Highly recommend!
I absolutely love this place! As someone living in Coimbra, it’s been a challenge to find a consistent group of pickleball players—so I travel to Porto for games, and The Lob never disappoints. They have six outdoor pickleball courts, a strong community of players, and some seriously fierce competition that keeps things exciting. Beyond pickleball, the facility is impressive. There are padel courts, and upstairs you’ll find a store, café bar, dart machines, and even a stage—it’s a whole vibe. Whether you’re playing or just hanging out, the energy is great. What really makes it special is the phenomenal staff—super welcoming, helpful, and they clearly love the community they’ve built. If you’re looking for a fun, competitive, and well-run spot to play pickleball (or padel) in Porto, I highly recommend The Lob. It’s worth the trip!
What a gem! We stumbled upon this place that just launched their dedicated pickleball courts. There are indoor padel courts and outdoor pickleball courts. There’s also a snack and bar area for post game refreshments. Highly recommend!
