The Grupo Cultural e Desportivo dos Empregados do Banco Pinto & Sotto Mayor (G.C.D.E.B.P.S.M.) is a members’ club for former Banco Pinto & Sotto Mayor staff and their families, rooted in 1946 and now centred on a sports complex in Vila Nova de Gaia. The Norte regional group moved to Rua das Oliveiras 340 after building tennis courts and a gym pavilion opened in 1993. The public website still highlights tennis, futsal and social activities, but recent visitors also describe indoor padel alongside tennis, gym and a restaurant open to the public. The club runs cultural events, INATEL-linked sport history and a large associate community of around 450 members.

Membership is tied to the BPSM employees’ association and descendants per club statutes; contact +351 22 712 1460 or gcdebpsm.org for access rules and court booking. Public restaurant on site. Padel and tennis availability should be confirmed with reception because online modalities are incomplete.

O GCDBPSM permite actividades indoor, e outdoor, nomeadamente Ténis. Se os courts rápidos têm qualidade, os courts de terra batida são fracos quanto a qualidade. Um reparo para os balneários, pouco confortáveis e a necessitar de obras. Relevo para a simpatia dos seus colaboradores.
O zelador é mal educado pois não respeita os vizinhos pois está sempre a fazer fugueiras e não coloca remédio para os ratos. Que já foi alertado
