Membership & Pricing

Ciudad Deportiva Municipal El Val is the municipal sports city run by the Organismo Autónomo Ciudad Deportiva (OACD) of Alcalá de Henares on Avenida Virgen del Val 4. Padel is a core use alongside football and other community sport. The complex offers four outdoor padel courts used by schools, amateur leagues and residents; the city approved roofing the padel zone so play can continue in rain or extreme heat. Reviews mix praise for space and accessibility with calls for better turf and pool maintenance. The centre is a public facility, not a private members club, with booking through the OACD channels.

Facilities

Contact secretaria@oacdmalcala.org or +34 918 77 17 80 for reservations and programmes. Typical public hours around 08:30–22:00 on directory sites. Municipal pricing and school activities; check OACD website for current court hire tariffs and covered-court opening once works complete.

I want to mention the poor service received by a woman in this office who serves my mother, an elderly person who uses the municipal swimming pools. Any care given to our elders deserves respect. You can't dismiss people and only look at the money you receive from the city council, which is where your salary comes from. So if you don't know how to deal with the public, you're the ones who will lose out, as there are more and more options for sports. Although I think that, along with people like this woman who doesn't know how to treat people and the pool is getting colder and colder, I don't know what kind of publicity is being given... I'm sorry, but I find it regrettable.

A sports club, a hockey club, that wants to go beyond the sporting aspect, requests a classroom to complete the athletes' training, link athletic and academic performance, facilitate family life balance, develop well-rounded athletes... And the answer is NO. There are empty classrooms like there are in the facilities!!! Not to mention that gyms are not provided for higher categories, and they are unoccupied for many hours... Developing well-rounded individuals in all facets of life should be a priority for these facilities and this municipal consortium. We hope they reconsider and facilitate a comprehensive education for teams seeking to develop well-rounded athletes!

It's a very complete and well-maintained sports complex. Prices are very affordable, and you can purchase monthly and annual passes that include access to all the facilities: swimming pool, gym, spa, padel courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, futsal courts, volleyball courts, hockey courts, and of course, its fantastic athletics track, where you can do not only running but also throwing, jumping, and other events... everything is very well-maintained and comprehensive.
