The municipal padel courts at Parque de la Arboleda belong to Almazán’s main sports complex on the right bank of the Duero, a short walk from the historic centre once you cross the medieval bridge. Tennis and padel courts sit in the same enclosure as the polideportivo, which has a multi-use hall, covered frontón, spectator stands, and changing rooms with toilets. Hire is handled at the sports hall or through the town’s online reservation service. The wider complex includes a timber pavilion of about 2,000 m² used for sports year-round, heated swimming pools, outdoor football, skating and skate areas, a calisthenics circuit, and an outdoor fitness trail. Municipal programmes list padel among initiation and improvement activities for adults and children.
Facilities
Court hire follows public prices set by the Ayuntamiento de Almazán. Ordenanza 10 (approved 2024) lists pista de pádel at 5.00 euros per hour in the Parque de la Arboleda enclosure; courts used with electric lighting add 2.00 euros per hour. Online booking is available on almazan.es under Deportes, Reserva online, Reserva de espacios, Pádel. You can enter with tarjeta ciudadana details or book without logging in, choose a slot for today or tomorrow only, pay by bank card, and receive email confirmation. Tennis and padel can also be hired by going to or calling the polideportivo. There is no private club membership: access is pay-per-use municipal hire. When padel is offered in the annual directed-activity calendar, the same ordinance prices most directed sports specialties at 20 euros per month per person.
