Club de Tenis Mas dels Frares is the padel and tennis hub Ripotenis SL has run at Benicàssim's Polideportivo Mas dels Frares since June 2017. Rubén Ripollés Bru, a national tennis coach and qualified padel trainer, heads a staff that treats pádel as a first-class sport rather than an add-on. The 36,000 m² site on Carrer dels Frares brings together schools, leagues, summer camps and casual court hire for locals and holidaymakers on the Castellón coast. Padel runs from beginner groups through competition squads, with Javi Ripollés coordinating team play. Seasonal spring and winter leagues split players by level, and the club posts social padel tournaments such as the I Torneo Social de Pádel. Families use the same grounds for multideporte weekends, birthday parties and the Escuela de Verano that mixes tennis and pádel from late June into July.
Facilities
Escuela de Pádel with specialist coaches from initiation through technical refinement. Weekday competition training for adult and youth squads; weekend multideporte for ages 4–15 (10:00–13:00) and youth intensives for ages 9–17 in the same slot. Spring and winter padel leagues with level-based categories; winter league entry around €50 per person with trophies and sponsor gifts. Summer school 29 June–31 July with morning and afternoon turns, groups capped at six, 10% sibling discount. Ten percent off from the second family member on seasonal enrolments. The staff were perfect: polite, friendly, etc. The facilities were perfect except for the pitches... a good size for training, but they are a bit outdated and the grass needs replacing. Otherwise, everything was fine.
A fantastic place to celebrate children's birthdays, with plenty of enclosed space, lots of grass, and great shade from a very large tree. They also have a covered terrace as a backup plan in case of rain. The menu costs €10 per child, and if there are things you don't want, they offer alternatives. You can also hire a monitor or rent courts for sports. We'll definitely be having our birthday party there again next year!
Happy on the courts and satisfied with the service; however, the cleanliness of the bathrooms needs urgent improvement 🚻 because it's not normal that at 9:00 in the morning the smell is unbearable and there are papers scattered everywhere and the changing rooms are closed.
We rented a padel court and although there is parking, it has been closed for several months and they do not allow parking.
