Club Deportivo Sociocultural Militar Sancha Brava is the sports and social hub inside the Cuartel de Sancha Brava on the Valverde road outside Badajoz. It belongs to the Spanish Army leisure network and sits in the same broad Valverde corridor as several private padel clubs, though this is a military sociocultural centre rather than a standalone padel venue. Long-standing visitors describe padel courts with coaching available, alongside three swimming pools, winter and summer bars, a youth club, gym access and changing rooms spread through tree-lined grounds. The atmosphere mixes families, military personnel and guests who have used the complex for decades. Google reviews mention organised summer activities for children and adults, friendly bar staff and a restaurant that works well on hot Extremadura afternoons. Access rules follow military leisure-centre policy rather than public walk-in club norms.

I'm feeling very nostalgic. I've been thinking about this place since 2011. It has padel courts (and lessons), a winter and summer bar, a youth club, three swimming pools, and changing rooms. The service is excellent, and there are two parks that evoke memories. This place is located in my hometown (Badajoz). Thank you for making this place a part of my childhood.

A great place to spend those hot days, which are frequent in Badajoz. The pool and the restaurant are very well-equipped, especially when you're served by a very friendly waiter (tall and dark-skinned: Pitingo), who makes you feel right at home.

Fantastic place, spacious pools and well-maintained grounds. Excellent winter and summer bars, friendly staff who even know your name. In summer there are tons of activities for children and adults.

Very friendly people. We feel very welcome whenever we come. From the entrance to the cafeteria/restaurant, everything is great. Every time we come, we start at the gym and finish by swimming in the pool. What I don't find normal is that the restrooms have set hours that aren't followed.
