Ibaeta Padel Trinketea is Trinkete Ibaeta, one of San Sebastian's oldest racket-sport venues — open since 1983 and credited as a padel pioneer in Donostia. The club on Igara Bidea in the Ibaeta neighbourhood blends five covered indoor padel courts with a historic trinkete fronton where Basque pelota variants are still played. It feels like a family club rather than a corporate fitness chain: parents train here, kids take classes, and regulars book courts through WhatsApp or the centre app.
Facilities
Pay-and-play court booking via the Trinkete app or web portal, with open-match listings when you need a fourth player. A Bono Monedero prepaid credit wallet never expires and can be spent on reservations, balls, grips, and drinks — but not on padel lesson fees. Clasico fronton
A very family-friendly padel club. We train there and have always been very happy. If I had to find a small fault, it would be that in summer the upstairs courts get very hot due to their metal structure, and the fans don't completely solve the problem.
Excellent padel courts, swimming pool, sauna, and porron. Reservations can be made via WhatsApp. Private parking. Excellent service.
The courts are in good condition and there is no excessive sand on the court. Highly recommended for a good time playing padel.
