Membership & Pricing

Club de Tenis Almería has been a fixture in Huércal de Almería since 1972, spread across roughly 50,000 square metres of tree-lined grounds on Avenida de la Alpujarra. Tennis still leads the story, with eight clay courts and eight quick courts, but padel has a clear footprint: five outdoor courts listed on Playtomic as Padel Muro 1 through 4 plus Padel Cristal 5. The rest of the complex adds a football 7 pitch, swimming pool, new gym, basketball courts, and a poolside restaurant used for themed parties and family events. Summer camps, Christmas school, and the joint tennis and padel academy keep the site busy year-round. Recent Google reviews are split: some praise event catering and tapas, others flag ageing padel surfaces, staffing gaps in the restaurant, and closing times that do not always match the app. Worth confirming hours before a late booking. Court hire through Playtomic app or website for padel and tennis. Tennis and padel school enrolment for children and adults (2025/26 season; padel classes 1h or 1.5h). Excellent quality and service. A great place to celebrate any event, with delicious tapas and larger portions.

This club has been in decline for some time. It's never been run as poorly as it is now. The current board leaves much to be desired. No matter how much they criticize the previous board, the management is a failure. There's no money for maintenance or staff, but there is enough for tacky parties where you can post a few posing photos. The paddle tennis courts are completely obsolete, there's no one to take care of the restaurant or the beach bar, and the summer school has fewer children than ever. This is what happens when there are no competent people, no business owners to help restore the club's prestige.

It's fine for playing soccer or attending soccer lessons. The instructors are great. But the maintenance leaves a bit to be desired. In the photo, you can see a bush right at the edge of the field and the seating area is overgrown with weeds.

We went to play padel on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 8:30 PM. We didn't have a reservation, but the courts were available. The sign said they closed at 10:30 PM, but when we arrived, they told us they closed at 9:00 PM, even though the schedule on the app and website says they close at 10:30 PM. I hope they take action regarding this.

Great place, very good service, high quality of food, the toilets leave something to be desired. Good places to park.
