Club de Tennis i Padel L Escala has been the Costa Brava town reference for racket sport since September 1995. What started as two quick tennis courts and a fronton now means three clay tennis courts and three padel courts — the newest padel layout was added in 2023. All courts carry LED floodlighting for evening play. The club sits on Carrer de l Escorxador in a welcoming social setting where Maria, Labdi and the coaching team keep the atmosphere familiar rather than corporate. Holiday visitors and locals book padel and tennis through Playtomic; private lessons with coaches such as Sergio and Marcos run around 30 euros per hour according to recent visitor feedback. Summer camps, Easter and Christmas casals, club tournaments and social events fill the calendar. For padel in L Escala near the Emporda coast, this is the established community club.
Facilities
Membership is central to how the club operates. Tariffs for 2026: individual soci from 32 euros per month, couple 27 euros, family 22 euros per person, with 50 euros registration (25 euros each when two family members join together). Temporary options include one month at 135 euros or minimum three months at 75 euros per month; six-month minimum stay applies on standard plans. Members get one free daily court session with lighting included, 48-hour advance Playtomic booking (non-members limited to 24 hours), discounts on private classes, kids casals, club events and sponsor products. Non-members can still book via Playtomic. Pad cancellations require four hours notice; tennis one hour.

Holiday in L’escala! My 11 year old son had 2 private tennis lessons from Marcos! He learned a lot about how to use his own body and improve power with tennis techniques ! We recommend!
Wonderful location
Tennis club with three clay courts and three paddle courts. Maria and Labdi are charming and professional, they make the atmosphere very familiar and pleasant. The best option to play tennis and paddle in L'Escala.
