Fondonet Pádel has been Novelda's reference outdoor padel club since opening in June 2012, set in the El Fondonet industrial estate on the edge of the Alicante town. Six glass-walled outdoor courts draw a mixed crowd — locals, visitors and regulars who describe it as the best padel venue in Novelda. The club pitches itself as inclusive, welcoming players across ages and abilities rather than chasing an elite-only vibe. Booking runs through the club's own app (Google Play and App Store) plus an online reservation system, and the PLAY matchmaking tool alerts you to open games within half a point of your level across five category bands. Post-match, the on-site restaurant and bar get solid reviews for affordable food and friendly service, though a few visitors flag inconsistent cleaning in the changing areas. The site also hosts periodic tournaments including the Circuito Lemon series and summer opens. Novel Padel Indoor operates separately on Calle La Serreta in the same industrial park — Fondonet is the outdoor six-court site at Calle La Mola 9.
