Club de Tenis Oliva is a long-established racket-sports club on the Paseo Oliva al Mar in Oliva, Valencia, a short drive from the town beach. Google lists the on-site venue as Restaurante Club de Tenis Oliva, but the campus is a full multi-sport club rather than a restaurant-only listing: six outdoor padel courts sit beside eleven tennis courts, a gym, swimming pool, football pitches and the club bar-restaurant. Four padel lanes use glass walls and two use traditional wall construction, giving players a mix of court types. The in-house Ectotenis school runs padel and tennis tuition, and the club calendar includes competitions such as the II Torneo Oliva Padel Pro. The atmosphere is a family-oriented local club used by Oliva residents, holiday players and groups who want padel, tennis and pool access in one membership base.

Overall a disappointing experience. We went for a lunchtime menu del día on Tuesday. We were hoping to be able to recommend it to friends coming to the area to play padel. At first things were fine. We both chose croquettes as our starter, and they were lovely. In fact they gave us 6 each, which was far too many, and may have been a mistake. The main course was very disappointing though. My salmon was overcooked, dry, and incredibly salty. I couldn't eat much of it all. The other main, a pork chop, was cooked nicely but again was far too salty. The potatoes that came with both meals were still hard inside. It is a real shame as the menu del día is great value, and the restaurant is spacious and pleasant, but based on our experience I can't recommend eating here.

We dined here a few weeks ago for a Christmas team party. I have to say it was very well organized, all of the staff were incredibly attentive, welcoming and I look forward to taking my husband here.

Dommage.
