Membership & Pricing

Complejo Polideportivo El Pandero is Palma del Río’s main municipal sports complex, managed by the Patronato Deportivo Municipal on a site of about 98,100 m² in the northeast of the town. Within the Zona Polideportiva Municipal sit two glass padel courts that were recently remodelled with new artificial grass. Court hire is open to the public under the local fee ordinance, though Patronato programmes and club bookings can take priority over casual play. The same complex also holds four tennis courts (one centre court with stands for roughly 300 spectators), football pitches on natural and artificial turf, a six-lane athletics track, indoor and outdoor swimming areas, and a covered multi-sport pavilion with seating for 720. Players book padel in person at the Patronato offices, by same-day telephone pre-booking, or online through the Patronato site at pdmpalmadelrio.es.

Facilities

Access is pay-per-use under the municipal Ordenanza Fiscal for the piscina and polideportivo, not a private club membership. Padel is charged by hour-and-a-half (or fraction), with separate rates with and without lighting, 10-use vouchers (bonos), and a discounted morning weekday tariff (hora y media bonificada, typically Monday–Friday mornings). Sports clubs may use preferential club rates where agreements apply. Bookings can be made in person at the Patronato offices, by telephone pre-reservation that must be confirmed the same day, or online at www.pdmpalmadelrio.es. Current prices and reductions are published in the official fee ordinance; check with the Patronato Deportivo Municipal before visiting, as rates are updated periodically.

Very good facilities

A very large sports complex with three soccer fields, a pavilion, an outdoor indoor court, four tennis courts, and two padel courts. The padel courts are somewhat neglected, but the rest is fine. A good bar for a drink.
