Membership & Pricing

Padel Club Ribadeo has operated since 2012 on Alfredo Deaño street in Ribadeo, Lugo, as the town’s main racket hub where padel and tennis share one site. Three covered padel courts use blue WPT-style LED lighting and FEP-homologated build specs, while a fourth outdoor terracotta court adds summer variety. A fast tennis court, gym, social room, sports shop and cafeteria surround a warm-up zone, making the club a full afternoon out rather than a quick court hire. The centre runs summer opens, Mercedes Pádel Tour stops and Ditram-sponsored tournaments that draw players from eastern Galicia.

Facilities

Courts can be reserved online or by phone on 650 624 350 or 982 102 365. Pricing and timetables are published on padelclubribadeo.com and the Experiencias en Ribadeo partner page. Coaching, shop purchases and gym access are handled at reception. Tournament entries for summer opens and regional tours are promoted on the club’s social channels.

Honestly, I think it's a rip-off. Besides charging €7.50, you also have to pay for the electricity, which is €2 split between everyone. Basically, playing padel for an hour and a half on old, sandy courts (except for court 1), where the ball bounces off the glass whenever there's any humidity, and inside a semi-open building with a tarpaulin-covered wall, costs you €8 per person. I understand that everyone sets their own price, but they're taking advantage of the fact that there aren't any other courts in Ribadeo. So, if you're in the Barreiros area, I recommend you go play in Foz, which has much better facilities, with four new courts, and they're also much more pleasant.

I went on Thursday, June 29, 2023, to introduce myself and request a match to play during my vacation (as I've done for several years at other clubs and venues in Spain). I left my contact information, my club and Playtomic rankings, and my complete availability during these 10 days of vacation, so I could play any day and at any time. I have to tell you that my vacation is over and I'm still waiting for a call, even though the club's website showed that there were courts available every afternoon. Awful. I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less.

I'm very grateful to Edgar for giving me a couple of classes these past few days. His advice was very professional and very helpful. Also to the entire club staff, who were very attentive to me. I'll definitely come back when I'm there. Thank you!!

Padel club. 3 indoor courts and one outdoor court. They have a warm-up area with a stationary bike, elliptical trainer, and not much else... (it's closed, I suppose due to Covid). €27 for 1 hour 30 minutes; the lights are coin-operated. 1 hour/1 hour. The changing rooms/showers are a bit neglected, but they do the job.
