Membership & Pricing

Pistas Municipales de Pádel sit inside Zona Deportiva La Alameda, the main municipal outdoor sports complex in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha). The Ayuntamiento lists six padel courts here among the Campos y Pistas area, so recreational and regular players can book public-rate padel without joining a private club. The same zone also holds an athletics track, two football pitches (Pablo Mela and D.M. Zarra), a rugby field, a velodrome, six tennis courts and six frontón courts, which makes it a shared multi-sport hub rather than a padel-only venue. Access is managed as a municipal installation under the Concejalía de Deportes, with public fees published by the town hall.

Facilities

Padel at Pistas Municipales de Pádel is charged under the Ayuntamiento de Talavera public sports fees for tennis, padel and frontón courts: €2.20 per hour without lighting, a 10-hour pass at €18.50, a 25-hour pass at €46.20, plus a €2.60 per hour lighting supplement. An annual Tarjeta Abonado from the Concejalía de Deportes (personal and non-transferable) costs €58.10 general, €38.90 special, €27.15 junior, €92.80 family or €75.45 large family, and gives a 50% discount on padel, tennis and frontón court passes, among other sports benefits. Pay when you reserve; use starts only after payment.

Yesterday, September 19, 2024, a group of people and I had reserved a padel court at 4:00 PM. To our surprise, we couldn't play because the courts were closed, and the guy who was supposed to open them didn't arrive until 5:00 PM, since that's his working hours. A woman inside the facility told us all this in a very rude manner. She was very unresponsive to the problem and lacked empathy. She also had very little manners, speaking to us through a glass door and barely even bothering to come out. She did absolutely nothing; just telling us to go complain to Jaje was enough. We don't quite understand why the slopes open at 5 p.m. and are given a reservation for 4 p.m. We also don't understand why the lady, instead of helping us and offering a solution, such as calling the person in charge or simply opening the door, didn't do so (we later complained about how everything went). The treatment and service were quite incompetent, to be honest. This incident left us extremely dissatisfied, and we won't be visiting there again.

I like them, for what you pay you can't ask for much more.
