Membership & Pricing

Polideportivo Municipal de Villablino is the main sports hub for the Laciana valley in León province, run by the Ayuntamiento de Villablino. Padel arrived here in 2018 with a single outdoor court that proved so popular a covered roof was added in 2020 — funded through the Diputación de León's municipal cooperation plan — so players can train through rain and mountain snow without cancelling. The court sits outside the main polideportivo building alongside tennis courts, a frontón, a covered sports hall, summer swimming pools, and a weights gym. Villablino sits inside the Laciana Biosphere Reserve, and the padel court gives locals a modern racket option beyond hiking and winter sports. Booking is fully digital, which suits a spread-out rural municipality where not everyone can drop in at reception during office hours.

Facilities

Individual and family polideportivo memberships offer reduced court-hire rates compared with casual users. Members and anyone already registered for sports schools or previous online bookings access the reservation system with their existing account — no duplicate registration needed. Book via deportes.aytovillablino.com, the Polideportivo de Villablino Android app, or the MP Centers iOS app (centre code 01259). First-time web users reset their password through the login page; first-time app users use the recover-password flow. Enrolment in padel or other sports schools is managed through the council's sports department.

It has a multipurpose pavilion, tennis and paddle tennis courts, a gym and swimming pools.

In winter, a place to stay in shape. For €20, you get 10 passes to the gym. Very competitive prices, but the equipment is a bit aging. In summer, you also have a beautiful, refreshing 25m pool!

The gym has the basics for training, the padel court has a roof that doesn't protect you from the rain, and the swimming pools are among the worst in the province.
