PadelHub Luzern brought the city's first public padel courts to the Allmend in April 2023, filling a gap that Lucerne players had been asking for. The site sits on Horwerstrasse between Messe Luzern and Swisspor Arena, built into the old FC Luzern football grandstand—an industrial, slightly gritty setting that early visitors loved as a clever reuse of amateur-sport infrastructure. Founders Nicolás, Noah and Marcandrea discovered padel while studying in Barcelona and spent eighteen months planning before opening two covered outdoor courts. Playtomic lists them as PUERTO MATE Platz 1 and NEOVISO Platz 2. A Players Lounge arrived in spring 2024 for drinks and downtime between matches. PadelHub has since grown into a small Swiss chain with sister sites in Aarau and Hochdorf, but the Luzern location remains the original flagship and the one tied most closely to the city's padel community.
Facilities
Courts are booked through Playtomic; prices start around CHF 40 per hour depending on time slot and day. PadelHub runs a Fixplatz scheme—contact the team directly to reserve a regular weekly slot with at least 15% discount versus ad-hoc booking. Loading credit onto your Playtomic wallet earns up to 10% bonus (for example CHF 500 credited for CHF 450). DayPlay Unlimited costs CHF 299 per month for unlimited weekday play between 08:00 and 17:00, with friends able to join free. Training sessions are available on request. WhatsApp community groups help players find partners at each location. Corporate tournaments, birthday parties and stag events can be booked from CHF 250 for two hours including rackets and balls, or from CHF 400 with a coach.
