Membership & Pricing

Padel Parc Yverdon is a dedicated padel centre on Avenue des Sports 5 in Yverdon-les-Bains, part of the Padel Parc chain across French-speaking Switzerland. Two covered outdoor courts sit in a hangar-style hall at the Sports 5 complex, playable year-round regardless of weather. Access is fully self-service: book on Playtomic, receive a door code, and play from 07:00 until midnight seven days a week. The setup is lean on amenities—no changing rooms or showers on site, though a toilet is available with a keypad code, and toilets in the neighbouring Sports 5 building sometimes need a key that is not always present. Reviews split between praise for court quality and same-day availability versus frustration at CHF 44–50 hourly rates for basic facilities, sun glare through side panels, and balls lost to surrounding construction zones.

Facilities

Courts book exclusively through the Playtomic app with autonomous entry codes. Daytime slots before 17:00 cost CHF 44 per hour per court; evening play from 17:00 costs CHF 50 per hour. Fixed weekly slots Monday to Friday before 17:00 are available on request at reduced rates. School group bookings run weekdays until 17:00. Academy collective lessons on Playtomic start from CHF 45 for beginner, intermediate, and initiation sessions. Private coaching is not currently offered at Yverdon. Gift vouchers are sold at reception or by emailing info@padelparc.ch.

The pitches are good, the booking system is great, but very expensive considering there are no changing rooms or toilets (there are some in the Sports 5 complex, but several times the key wasn't there).

The court itself is decent, but that's about the only positive point. The price is far too high for what's offered: no changing rooms, no toilets, and the facilities are very incomplete. If your ball goes out of bounds, there's a good chance you'll lose it in the construction site surrounding the property. The court is covered, but between the poorly placed openings and the sun beating down on the side windows, visibility is very poor at certain times. It's a shame, because it had potential, but the overall experience is disappointing.

Having been a regular at the CIS fields in Marin for several years, I wanted to try out what's available elsewhere… and it wasn't exactly a success. I'll start with the positives, because there are some: ✅ Good availability: you can book on the same day, which is rarely possible in Marin. ✅ Quality field. But unfortunately, the list of negatives is much longer: ❌ No facilities: no changing rooms, no toilets. Apparently, there are keys on site, but we couldn't find them. ❌ No water fountain nearby. ❌ Balls lost due to inaccessible mezzanines on the sides of the hangar. ❌ Very dirty place, which gives an impression of neglect. ❌ Excessive price: 50 CHF per hour is completely outrageous for such basic services. In short: while the availability and the pitch were fine, the rest was lacking, especially at that price. I won't be going back.
